Kevin is a
three-time National Hollerin’ Champion. He won the National Hollerin’ Contest in the years 2000,
2004 and again in 2007. He has placed 1st runner-up 6 times. He has appeared
on The Late Show with David Letterman twice, and Live with Regis and Kathie Lee. He
was in the studio as a guest on The John Boy and Billy Big Show and has been a telephone guest on the Bob
and Sheri Radio Show twice as well as over a hundred other radio stations around the world. In
August 2005, the movie “Junebug”, a Sony Pictures Classics film, was released and Kevin, who is billed as
a Hollerin’ Man, is the first person seen and heard in the film! The movie’s writer wanted to parallel the
fine folk art of Spivey’s Corner Hollerin’ with the peculiar visual art of the painter in the

Amy Adams was nominated for an Academy Award for her role in the film.
Kevin has made presentations to elementary schools, churches,
civic groups such as the Ruritans, Library Community Programs, various
charity events, College Speaker Series, and Professional Organizations.
